2008, What a great year it was! Many things happened. As I looked back, there was only one word called "amazement". I am amazed on how You have brought me this far... You have guided my every step to be where I exactly am right now. You have lifted me up when I was down. You have never failed to see me through my valleys.
I remember some lines of a song by Don Moen that I have been listening a lot recently :

Thank You, Lord, I just wanna say thank You for giving me so much.
It is so plain to see... So much love You have bestowed on me, to embrace people around me with an open heart. So much strength to run the race with endurance & perseverance. So much wisdom to excel in whatever things I do, even beyond the limit my mind can fathom. So much blessings, so much joy, and so many sweet moments...
Despite the reality that sometimes I, too, had to walk through some valleys. But even in those hard times, I could plainly see and experience Your grace being abundantly poured all over me. Grace by which You have comforted me and cheered me up, so that in turn I can be someone who comforts and cheers others up.
Nevertheless, just as the chorus of the song itself, I believe there is more You want me to receive from You in 2009.
Father, let this be a brighter & victorious year in which I experience more of You in my journey.
Let me be transformed day after day after day... to be a greater person of influence, a more anointed vessel for Your glory, a thirstier worshipper, a more diligent & generous sower, a more faithful & faith-full reaper, and a more skillful fisher of men.
I pray for heavy and unstopable rains of blessings upon my house, my family and friends, my church, my cellgroup, and my office, until we are so much 'flooded' by Your goodness.
And if I can summarize these all, with all my heart I would say, "Lord, in this 2009, let Your will in my life be perfectly fulfilled."
